The Quireboys are set to release a new album called White Trash Blues. The cover album consists of 12 songs featuring blues greats such as Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry among others. The album can be expected available through regular sales channels starting September 5th, however, the album will be performed live on the blues stage at the Ramblin Man Fair , in Maidstone, Kent, England tomorrow evening (July 30th).
A 3 track teaser album called “Leaving Trunk” will be released through digital sales channels prior to the official release of the full White Trash Blues album. It will be available on August 1st and will feature Leaving Trunk and the additional tracks Champagne and Reefer and Rollin’ and Tumblin’.
White Trash Blues album track list – Boom Boom, Cross Eyed Cat, Going Down, Help Me, I Wish You Would, King Bee, Hoochie Coochie Man, Leaving Trunk, Little Queenie, Shame Shame Shame, Take Out Some Insurance and Walking The Dog.
When asked “What are your top 3 favorites from the new White Trash Blues album?” Spike’s reply was – Boom Boom, Help Me and Walking The Dog.

Spike is interviewed by Guy Bellamy as part of the Great Music Stories show on Meridian FM in September 2016 following the release of The Quireboys latest album, Twisted Love. Spike talks about the new songs, how they are written and how they record and rehearse them.
The Quireboys are releasing their 10th studio album called Twisted Love on 2nd September. Again, the band hunkered down in a remote studio in Sweden to create this new album. Preceeding the album release, the title track of the album, also called Twisted Love, was released to Meridian FM for an exclusive first playing to which their was a lot of positive feedback and requests for a replay. Off Yer Rocka Recordings, The Quireboys’ record label, released the official video for Twisted Love yesterday resulting in an explosion of Likes and Shares on social media. Interviews with Spike and Guy Griffin will be aired on Meridian FM in the coming weeks as the band and label work up to the release of the new album in September. In the meantime, below you will find both an audio clip from the exclusive radio release on Meridian with some commentary on feedback, as well as the Off Yer Rocka Recordings official video for the title track “Twisted Love”.

RAW, ROUGH AND BRILLIANT IN 1988/89: Ever wish you could say..”I saw The Quireboys before they went big..before they recorded all their albums and before they had been playing and recording for 30 years!”? Well, here’s your chance. Here’s a 47 minute VHS rescued gem from a show back in 1988/89 recorded at a pub in the U.K. (thanks to Michael Max John Wormald) just prior to the release of their debut album “A Bit Of What You Fancy”. Band members were Spike, Nigel Mogg, Guy Bailey, Ginger, Chris Johnstone and Nick Connell. The songs are in the raw…rough…brilliant!! Enjoy.
