Spike is interviewed by Guy Bellamy as part of the Great Music Stories show on Meridian FM in September 2016 following the release of The Quireboys latest album, Twisted Love. Spike talks about the new songs, how they are written and how they record and rehearse them.
Earlier this month, 107 Meridian FM aired a three hour special on The Quireboys in celebration of their recent release of their new album, Twisted Love. The three hour special was featured on Guy Bellamy’s Great Music Stories show. The following is the audio from the first hour of the three, where Bellamy interviews bands that have toured with The Quireboys and takes their comments on how they have been influenced by them and their music.

The Quireboys are releasing their 10th studio album called Twisted Love on 2nd September. Again, the band hunkered down in a remote studio in Sweden to create this new album. Preceeding the album release, the title track of the album, also called Twisted Love, was released to Meridian FM for an exclusive first playing to which their was a lot of positive feedback and requests for a replay. Off Yer Rocka Recordings, The Quireboys’ record label, released the official video for Twisted Love yesterday resulting in an explosion of Likes and Shares on social media. Interviews with Spike and Guy Griffin will be aired on Meridian FM in the coming weeks as the band and label work up to the release of the new album in September.

Unfortunately, The Quireboys have had to cancel their show on 30th April in Liverpool, England at Fusion. They released the following statement to those who were going to attend or those who had already bought tickets to the show.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances The Quireboys will be unable to
perform their scheduled performance in Liverpool @ Fusion on April 30th
Refunds will be issued by all sources over the forthcoming week,
please note if purchases where made from record stores you need to visit the stores in person with your tickets.
